The New 2009 Easton V12 BV1 Velocity Alloy Baseball Bat is the worlds first pure 12 component alloy baseball bat (V12). This World's first 12 component alloy baseball bat is also know as "Velocity". With V12 Alloy the levels of strength and toughness have been raised to new heights. Along with R&D Team's 12 Component Scandium Alloy Easton has also equipped this V12 baseball bat with the new Optimal Hitting Zone or O-Zone. O-Zone creates maximum trampoline effect along the entire length of the barrel. The walls of the BV1 are streamlined alloy at the barrel, and the taper and end cap sections are slightly thicker to stiffen those regions and increase overall barrel performance. Single System Bat Technology provides this Easton V12 baseball bat with control and balance through the hitting zone. This Easton bat includes Pro-Tack Bat Grip, 31/32" Tapered Handle, Handle Flex Rating of 100, and has VRS (Vibration Reduction System) Rating of 80.
